If tetrahydro-cannabinol stops growth of lung cancer tumors in mice should it be researched for human use?
There is a difference between what will work on mice and what will work on human beings which is why there are Clinical Trials. Only Clinical Trials can determine what dosage can be used on humans, safety issues, the length of time it would be of benefit, and what type of cancer tumors (cells from lungs, cells from breast, cells from bone, etc) that this might be used for. At the moment you can check with the Clinical Trials to see exactly what is being researched using human beings.

It's too early for the public or patients to be too excited by tetrahydro-cannabinol to treat cancer. It needs more time and a better track record than just working on mice.
Reply:absolutely as long as the patient gives concent.
Reply:Sounds like you are asking for legalization of marijuana. How stupid do you take us for?
Reply:interesting - can you reply here and cite the paper???
Reply:Do you mean in patients with cancer? If so, then what do they have to lose?
