Can someone give me sites where you can donate money or anything to Cancer research?

Like, http://www.lustgarten.org, 100% goes to research for pancreatic cancer. I like 100% going to research. Good question as many do not know where to donate.

Reply:A quick google search will tell you. In Australia, there is the Cancer Council and various other foundations which contribute to cancer patient care and research. Jane McGrath and Delta Goodrem have such foundations.





Google would be the best place to start for your own country and city.
Reply:St. Jude's Hospital in Memphis is probably the best way to be sure that the maximum amount of your contribution goes to the places it's needed, without going to fund raisers, etc.Check them out; you'll like what you find out.
Reply:I think that with cancer research it is best for you to concentrate on the cancer that is affecting your family or friends the most. Cancer is over 200 different diseases, and most of them require a separate treatment protocol.





My son's cancer does not have any Foundation or research going on for it because it is extremely rare. However, his cancer is considered a childhood cancer . . so that is where we have focused our gift giving.





CureSearch is dedicated to eliminating all childhood cancer. It is an organization that is a collaboration between the Childrens Oncology Group and the National Childrens Cancer Foundation. CureSearch advocates, educates, and supports research to cure childhood cancer. They have made signicant contributions toward a cure in almost 80% of childhood cancers . . it is that elusive 20% that they are working at now.

Reply:do you really think that your donation makes it to research... the Jerry Lewis telethon takes in millions but only 11 cents of every dollar donated makes it to research,, the rest goes to pay for the stars time, hotel air fair and whatever else they want ...
