Run for life - Cancer?

Im thinking of doing the run for life for Cancer research UK. Has anyone done it?? Where is the best place to do it??

Run for life - Cancer?
I applaud anyone who does this! It is a fantastic event. Unless you like to travel, there's usually always one close to where you're living. You can look up all events dates and times on line. My Mother passed away from cancer when I was 6 and I think it is wonderful that people care enough to think of others when doing these types of events. Good Luck to you!
Reply:Get your friends gathered together and find the nearest race. I do it in celelbration of my little boy who is now ten, he had cancer when he was two. It can be an emotional but uplifting day.
Reply:I've done it; you'll really enjoy it, it's a fantastic event.

The race nearest you is best, but many will be filled up by now. The Race for Life website will give you details of where places are available
Reply:yes i have done it, the best place is the nearest one to where u live. look on the race for life website for info.
Reply:I do the annual walk for cancer as a survivor...it is so much fun and the people are so great...you will enjoy it...it is a great cause
Reply:I've never done it - I don't live in UK - but good for you! Cancer research needs all the funds it can get! Good luck - and have fun!
