I am doing research for a friend who's child has stage IV Neuroblastoma. He is certainly undergoing chemotherapy at this time, and will have stem cell treatment in the in the near future. Nevertheless, this type of cancer has a poor long term prognosis. I am looking into every possible treatment, without harming him in ANY way.
Thanks!
Has anyone "personally" been cured of cancer by using natural therapy?
Sorry to hear about your friend's child, that's awful.
As you see, you have not had any answers from people who have been cured by 'natural' therapy. Sorry, but those stories and recommendations invariably come from people who have not had cancer. Please be wary of unsubstantiated testimonials - you have no way of knowing whether the person ever had cancer, much less that they've been cured.
I agree with Inverse - there are complementary therapies that can make someone feel better, but run like the wind from any conspiracy theories or anyone that promises that diet, enemas, laetrile, herbs, juices or any other 'alternative' will cure cancer. Alternative in this sense just means unproven and untested, and I'm sure you would hate to see your friend taken for a ride by any of the charlatans waiting to take advantage of desperate and vulnerable people.
If you are investigating any particular therapy, do a search on
http://www.quackwatch.org for some facts about it.
My best wishes to your friend and her son.
Reply:Ketogenic diet has been demonstrated to be effective in reducing the size of (not curing) malignant brain tumours.
Reply:You can reasonably consider ANY alternative therapy that is discussed and recommended by medical authorities, such as Mayo Clinic, Sloan Kettering, MD Anderson, Johns Hopkins Univ., WebMD, National Cancer Institutes, etc.
Run far away from any web sites promising cures based on the secret that's being withheld from us by pharmaceutical companies (rat dung, apricot pits, you name it), high colonics (taking a big crap never cured cancer folks), or any other silliness like furniture arrangement.
Reply:I do not have cancer, but everyone have cancer cells, it's just dependent upon our immune system to fail and it will be definitely activated... I am one with you to agree that we do not need to harm the patient... moreso, a child... I am a mom... they say that chemotherapy is painful... and it's killing BOTH good and bad cells... if it's bad, then it's RIGHT to EXTINGUISH it... but if it's GOOD? then we must retain it... please try transfer factors, they are natural... it's worth to gamble than submit the child for the risk of chemo... I am not saying stop it deliberately... use transfer factors while on chemo... it will assist greatly... I will pray for the child... prayers work... :-)
Reply:when cancer first started, doctors and hospitals treated patients with concocted garlics in few days and it worked.
Reply:Well, I am 18, and was diagnosed with AML when I was 16. I went through a lot of chemo, and a bone marrow transplant, but I also went to a faith healer about 6 or 7 times. He would do acupuncture while praying. I feel that it really helped. He also had other special tools, but I'm not sure what they were for.
www.drnemeh.com
his name was Dr. Issam Nemeh, and he is pretty well known around here. check out his site. maybe it is something you'll want to look into.
Reply:This is kinda random but.. I heard somewhere that carrots can reduce risk of cancer?? I've never looked into to but, it's supposed to help. Not sure if it's true or not though, sorry. Just thought I'd throw a suggestion out there.
